URI Health Services
Pharmacy
The Pharmacy Department provides medications and drug counseling to the URI student population. The pharmacy operates under a limited formulary system carrying drugs which are effective in treating diseases and conditions commonly affecting the student population. The Pharmacy is funded by the health fee. Students who have paid the health fee for the current semester are eligible to have prescriptions filled and receive over-the-counter medications at the Health Services Pharmacy. The Pharmacy is closed during the summer and medications are not provided during this period.
