Flu Clinics
Created: 10-27-2009URI Health Services has vaccinated over 1,200 students to date this fall for seasonal flu. We currently have a no vaccine available at present. The state is scheduled to receive additional vaccine at some point. There has been a delay in the supply from the manufacturers. We will announce additional clinics here as soon as we receive additional vaccine. Thank you for your patience.
H1N1 Vaccine is currently unavailable for college students. The RI Dept. of Health has prioritized immunization of pregnant women and young children, therefore they will be the first to receive the vaccine. We expect to receive notice when colleges/universities will be able to begin to vaccinate students. Please check this website weekly for further updates. At present, it looks like we won't receive vaccine before early/mid December. More information to follow as it becomes available.
